Darent Wax turns PINK!

Friday 21st October 2016 was Wear It Pink Day at Darent Wax!
In aid of the Breast Cancer Now charity our staff donned their best pink ensembles and showed off their baking skills and £90.00 was raised for charity on the day.
Every year nearly 60,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK, that’s the equivalent of one person every 10 minutes. The vast majority of the UK population have been affected by breast cancer in one way or another, and with continued funding, charities like Breast Cancer Now can fund research and tip the balance in favour of breast cancer patients, helping more and more people overcome this devastating disease.
Most of our staff got involved in our Wear It Pink day, great fun was had by all and as you can see from the photos there were some funky outfits and delicious cakes plus prizes handed out for the best dressed!
